The First Hello

Friends! To begin I just wanna say a little bit about me. 

My name is Olivia Combs, I'm from Paragould, Arkansas, and this blog is solely to grow and share academically through the Faulkner Great Books program. I am a history major here at Faulkner and hope to teach after earning my Master's Degree. To know me you must know that I love deep study of the Bible and growing in a deeper relationship with the Creator. I love coffee and books and the smell of old libraries. I have a deep passion for working with children and for education. I also love Star Wars ( I am literally watching it as I type this), banana Laffy Taffy, the color green, travel, painting and theater! 

My goal in life is simply to know Christ and to make Him known to the world around me. I pray that the love of Christ would be reflected in me and in this blog. Similarly, I desire to think deeply on modern and ancient issues through the lens of the Lord and use that perspective to grow not only in myself but also better love and serve others through it.
